Basically i recorded a fidget spinner spinning into my windshield of my condenser microphone, it made a cool low end sound. I made some post processing at the end just to make it sound more cohesive. The sound is tuned to g but the pitch slightly bends.

I was doing some recording for this project i'm working on, and the right channel on the zoom h4 i was using bugged out, and this is the result. The only processing done was the removal of the left channel.

This was recorded inside the blue mosque in istanbul during friday prayer in may 2005. To get in to the blue mosque with recording equipment we had to get a permission from the religious authorities. We also needed a muslim to operate the equipment since the friday prayers were forbidden for non-muslims. We set up the recording equipment and let our turkish guide hit the record button once the prayer started. The sound is recorded using an m/s rig straight to dat and processed afterwards with a hp filter in protools to remove microphone rumble. This recording was taken around 10. 30pm near a village called dewe in uganda. Dewe is a village in uganda about 100 yards from the shores of lake victoria. I was fortunate enough to spend a month staying with a project called the dewe school of art based in the village. I took this recording while i was alone in the project gardens at night.
